Katie Spada: How food can work FOR us and not against us!

from When The Cleats Come Off

This week, I’m interviewing Katie Spada who is a former Ohio State Synchronized Swimmer, National Champion, and now Registered Dietitian teaching former athletes how to understand their identity and relationship with food after sport. We’re talking about how to build a healthy relationship with food and understanding how it can help us perform at the highest level, how to love our bodies and what they can do for us, and we even get into body image and how we’re BOTH still struggling with it ourselves from time to time! She also gives us tips on how ALL FOOD (not just the “healthy” stuff) can benefit us, and how it’s OKAY to eat sweets, carbs and cheeseburgers from time to time!   Follow Katie on Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/fueling.former.athletes    Visit Katie’s Website - https://www.spadastrongnutrition.com/    ABT Store Collection - https://ashley-b-training.myshopify.com/    Watch the full Interview on YouTube - https://youtu.be/31Z_utg2XP4  Links referred to in the episode: Victoria Garrick - https://www.victoriagarrick.com/  Similar episodes of When the Cleats Come Off: How What You Eat Affects Your Performance with Non-Diet Dietitian Katie Hake - https://ashleybtraining.podbean.com/?s=katie+hake    Overcoming Adversity with Former Pro Baseball Player Chris Vasami - https://ashleybtraining.podbean.com/?s=vasami    Chloe Maleski: The Importance of Mindfulness and Strength - https://ashleybtraining.podbean.com/e/chloe-1615859460/
