The evidence suggests Trump knows Kavanaugh is a flawed nominee but felt he would be acceptable to the Senate Democrats and the Deep State. The plan went haywire when the sexual assault charge came into play. It has seriously backfired on Trump and the Republicans, to the point where the polls now suggest that the Democrats will take the House AND the Senate in November. The real issue, they argue, is Kavanaugh's role in the cover-up of the murder of former Clinton White House lawyer Vincent Foster.
