Some Things Don’t Change, Thank GoodnessYou’ll know that Kay Ford is a bit old school when she begins her Garden City story saying, “I was born and ‘reared’ in Garden City,” rather than saying “raised”. Her English is correct and she talks with ease about her lifetime in a small town by a big port in the shadow of the more famous city of Savannah, Georgia.
