Building bamboo rafts, he and his comrades would also set sail to imitate the region's stronger fishermen & women. “We didn’t grow up wanting to become movie stars or basketball players, we watched those around us maneuver boats and apply fishing techniques that we only hoped to emulate, one day”. Canada might offer a different landscape than the Caribbean, but Dennis is constantly reminded that the outdoors is a broad and uneven space that requires us to adapt. With that, he sees no obstacle.
