Kayo | DSKF040

‘Kayo’ is taken from the 6th Contradusk LP, 'Sleepsave’, available now via Duskface Recordings. Originally released October 22nd 2021. ’Kayo’, the first song written for the album, is the soundtrack to chasing your dreams and finding your own happiness. It’s also the end of a journey - Picture yourself overlooking a huge valley and that’s where I was mentally when I wrote this track. I wanted to make a happy / positive song - a moment where you reach the light at the end of the tunnel. It was important for me to reflect reality, in the sense that experiencing the rest of the journey was the only way to reach here - A hopeful place.
