In this episode of Kid’s Corner, Dr. Liz Mumper discusses MIS-C (Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in Children) and the incidence of this diagnosis with COVID-19. Common symptoms of MIS-C in babies show as a rash and/or diarrhea. In older children, the symptoms are respiratory. MIS-C is similar to Kawasaki’s disease, although the symptoms usually resolve in contrast to Kawasaki’s disease.
