KC’s Loan Hopes vs. Struggling Reality | Kansas City Royals News

Sporting KC’s transfer window brought in two high-upside young talents on loan—18-year-old Seymour Reid and 19-year-old Ruben Ramos Jr.—both from MLS Next Pro and with standout performances, including Ramos’ four-goal run for the U.S. U-20s. Acquired for just $75K each with performance bonuses, they fit tactical roles as a deep-lying playmaker and a hold-up forward, respectively. But fans are frustrated: no game-changers, just seven new signings including three defenders, and the team remains winless since the World Cup break. With open DP spots and allocation money, the future looks promising—but results are urgently needed to silence the growing discontent.
