Kedoshim 5782 (2022)

from Rabbi Shaul Youdkevitch – Zohar & Kabbalah Study

The Parasha (Story) of Aḥarei-Mot is the reading of Yom Kippur – and it is given to us, this year, around Passover in order to help us making the Journey to purity of the mind and purity of speech on the road to experiencing genuine Liberty and a true sense of Personal Power. Parashat Aḥarei-Mot is being read, this year (2022 - 5782), on the Shabbat after the Seventh Day of Passover in Israel. Outside Israel, this Parashah is being read on the following Shabbat. Now! When the world is still in a dangerous place of uncertainty, it is time to reflect and look inside. This is the time to ask: Who is the person that I want to become and not: 'What are the things that I want to have? the places I want to travel, the deals I want to make'. This the time to stop our slavery to habits, belief systems and objects, the time to prepare ourselves to the freedom awaiting us in the 5780's.
