Keep Aiming at Jesus
from Excelling in Christ Hosted by Clarence Fell
Sin is more than the worst crimes we can imagine; it is missing the mark God has set. Romans 3:23 says all have sinned and fall short of God’s glory, and the true mark is Jesus. Christianity is not just avoiding obvious wrongs, but learning to think, speak, and live more like Christ. God’s Word shows the target, exposes where our aim is off, and calls us to repent, correct our direction, and keep walking in His steps. Grace does not move the target; it gives us another opportunity to improve our aim.
