Keep Awake and Repent!

The message of the First Sunday of Advent is stark! Remain vigilant! Do not slacken! Be not complacent!It could be stated in many different ways, with many various words,  but Our Lord does not allow us to glide easily into Christmas. The event of Christ's incarnation and birth is a world-shaterring event and, as such, it requires a total response of our selves.
