Keep On Serving God: 06/17/24

Monday June 17/24 Keep on Serving God Serving God takes dedication and commitment. I wrote sometime ago that we cannot serve Him base on how we feel.  Today we get up, we don't feel like praying, worshipping, reading the scriptures or even speak life into someone struggling in the faith. If we allow those hindrances to always come in our way, nothing will get done. Let me ask us this question, what if God was blessing us based on feelings? That brethren would not be a great experience. Someday it will get rough and make us feel like quitting every task at hand.  There is such an awesome joy we feel each time the work of God is being done. You see people of God, our God cares so much about us. He is a God that wants the best for us. He's a God who requires us to give Him our full attention and service. Let's do some introspection. Have we ever stopped to think about the many souls that remain in bondage when we failed to launch out or do the assignments God requires of us? We're not here for self gain or to please mankind. Our mandate is to serve God wholeheartedly. Keep on serving God when they criticize you, when they blame you falsely, when they don't see your worth, we situations are rough, or when you you feel like giving up. Remember, these words, according to Ecc 9:11 "I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all". Don't give up just yet. Hold on unto the end.  Remember, we are working to hear well done my good and faithful servant when we meet our saviour.
