Remember, the fire must be kept burning on the altar at all times. It must never go out.” Leviticus 6:12-13 NLT “Then you call on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the Lord; and the God who answers by fire, He is God.” So all the people answered and said, “It is well spoken.”” I Kings 18:24 NKJV Introduction  Elijah was one of the greatest prophets but God paired him with a worst king  When you see the world 🌎 going crazy know that God is preparing a great revival to bring His people back to the right place  Don’t give in to what is happening in the world 🌍  Have a heart longing for God in the perilous times Ahab brought a bad queen “Jezebel” into the land of Israel 🇮🇱  Jezebel brought Baal worship in the temple of the Lord  She was known for killing the prophets  We stand against the spirit of Jezebel in Jesus name Peoples hearts were taken away from God Customs  Some customs will make your life difficult “So they cried aloud, and cut themselves, as was their custom, with knives and lances, until the blood gushed out on them.” I Kings 18:28 NKJV Cry aloud - the whole day Cut themselves - their God wanted their blood to save them  Stay away from the gods who wants your blood  Your gods have been after the blood of your children  There is a God who sent His own son to shed His blood for you No Voice - Jo Answer “And when midday was past, they prophesied until the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice. But there was no voice; no one answered, no one paid attention.” I Kings 18:29 NKJV Now they had spend all their voice in shouting  One thing about our God is that He hears your prayer whether soft spoken or loud spoken. Sweet voice and rough voice He hears  We condemn a perception that when you scream louder God hears you better  When we shout in prayer or preaching it’s because of passion, not that we are more effective when we shout Build an Alter  “Then Elijah said to all the people, “Come near to me.” So all the people came near to him. And he repaired the altar of the Lord that was broken down. And Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, to whom the word of the Lord had come, saying, “Israel shall be your name.”” I Kings 18:30-31 NKJV The Alter was broken  Never call on the Lord over a broken alter  The reason why we don’t see the fire of the Lord in the Church today is because of the broken alters and broken hearts  Repair what has been broken  God back and apologies to your mother; father; son; daughter; sister; brother; friend and etc. Repent and ask God for forgiveness  “Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.” Matthew 5:23-24 NKJV It’s my job to tell you this, sometimes you don’t need to hear what you will say amen to  Repair what has been broken  Put things in order  I Kings 18:33-34 NKJV God works best when things are in order Cleanliness is next to Godliness Keep things in order, the presence of the Lord works best when you are in order Don’t try to assist God in doing His business Pour Water instead of the Fuel This will make people have no doubt that it’s God working in your life Simple Prayers and Fire Answers I You will have a different approach to the problems you face if you know that God provide answers to your questions with fire
