Fifth Generation Texan, successful entrepreneur, avid runner and all around health enthusiast James Templeton joins the show today.  James tells his story about why he was determined to stay healthy and make things different than his father and grandfather before him.  Running became a hobby, time in the gym became the norm but then the person he was modeling his health from had a heart attack and James had to think about his health a little differently.  A trip to the doctor and several tests later and they discovered an oddly shaped mole.  That mole was melanoma.Stage 4 melanoma.James was told to wait 3 months the first time around but then a surgery was required.  James went to sleep thinking it was going to be a small surgery.  Woke up to bandages everywhere and he was told he should do 80 sessions of chemotherapy.  This was going to be a very aggressive treatment for a very aggressive cancer with the hope of living 3-5 more years...Tune in this week to hear how James managed to reached 37 years of being cancer free.  Such a challenging time and tough diagnosis and James made it though even with his body not responding to the recommended treatment.  Others haven’t made it when getting this horrible diagnosis but with James you know it is possible.#KEEPYOURMINDOPENIntegrative Cancer Solutions was created to instill hope and empowerment.
