Keep your promises when you're weakest!

from Rise Again From The Struggle · host Kevin Brewer

No matter how well trained you are or how many times you've done something, you will be tried over and over again mentally. This happened to me again today. During my run, I kept trying to back out. I had plenty of excuses lined up to try and justify it, too. When you're in the moment, you can come up with all kinds of excuses that sound good. All I needed to do, though, was stall my emotions for just a few seconds. I let them do their thing, and then I talked back with logic. That was enough to not only get me through the worst of it, but I was then able to talk myself into doing even more than I originally planned.I decided when I was strong and found a way to keep my promises when I was weak. Not by ignoring my emotions but allowing them to have their moment, then talking to myself with logic afterward. No excuses! Kevin BrewerRise Again From The Struggle
