Keep Yourself // Jude 17-25

Grace is not permission to sin—it is God’s power to overcome sin. In his letter, Jude warns against antinomianism, the idea that because God forgives us, obedience no longer matters; today this often sounds like, “God knows my heart,” “I can live however I want as long as I believe,” or treating repentance as optional. Instead, Jude calls us to grow in discernment, faith, and perseverance, keeping ourselves in the love of God while trusting that He is able to keep us from stumbling.
