Keeper & Scrambler: Chapter 1 - The Sand and the Voice

Chapter 1 throws the readers straight into a desert superstorm as the kids are ripped from their normal lives and dropped into a terrifying, supernatural in-between moment from Abraham’s covenant with God. Sand roars, fire blazes, and two ancient, fiery forms—the blazing torch and smoking firepot—tear through the storm as Keeper shouts for the kids to hold fast. Fumbling, panicking, barely holding together, they witness the covenant ritual that shaped Israel’s future before being hurled back into their church hallway.
