Richard Martineau Leclerc & Francis Boisvert of Le Presbytère & I have a conversation about their 1st brews, how they started collaborating together, striving to create unique Metal themed brews, how Francis switched from the Fine Arts to making Beer, how Richard became Metal Richard, their recent success & their hangover cures. Throughout this interview, we were drinking Le Presbytère's "Black Hand Inn". This brew was made in honor of Running Wild the legendary German Pirate Metal band. This Pastry Robust Porter was brewed with chocolate, cherries, marshmallows, nuts, raisins, lactose & vanilla was aged in rum barrels for 45 days. It poured out with a jet black veil, smashed a boozy rum on the nose, slapped a sticky sweet, chocolate, booze filled finish. It clocked in with a 10.5% ABV.
