Keeping On Top Of COVID Controls

from The Interesting Health & Safety Podcast · host Colin Nottage

Over the past few months, businesses have worked tirelessly to make the environments safer for everyone. There may even be new controls and procedures in place. In this week’s show, Colin talks about how we can use questions to ensure that the workplace remains a safe and secure place for everyone. KEY TAKEAWAYS Are the distancing measures that we have implemented, still being adhered to? Are the touch-points and sanitation devices still being maintained and cleaned? We cannot afford to be complacent. Masks aren’t a new concept in the workplace. They have been providing respiratory protection for years. But now that masks are more prevalent, are we ensuring their use in other areas of the workplace? We owe it to each other to keep our environments safe, clean, and acceptable for others, if not ourselves. We have a responsibility to society, to do all we can do stop the virus if we can. BEST MOMENTS ‘Okay, you’ve put new controls in place, but how are they working? How effective are they?’ ‘People need to maintain the discipline that you’re looking for' ’That must be the cleanest keyboard you’ve ever had!'
