Keeping ourselves ready for the return of Jesus

(This podcast was previously recorded and published on July 8, 2020)   Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    Jesus says:  Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.  Luke 21:36   Before Jesus returns, the powers of heaven will be shaken. There will be signs in the sun and in the moon and in the stars.   Luke 21   25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;   26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.   27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.   To be ready for this, the apostle Peter tells us the following:   II Peter 3:14  Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.   Here are the ways we can live in peace continually, daily. ***** We must learn to pray moment by moment over everything that troubles us: Through prayer, we connect to God and enter into peace.   Philippians 4   6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.   7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.   ***    James 3:16-17   For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.   17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.     Psalm 51:10  Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.   💥💥💥💥💥    * For writings on additional subjects, click here:  Jesus Ministries Exhortations Blog
