I am delighted to welcome Keith Roberts to Lucid Driver Podcast.Keith told me, “My husband, Phat, and I are both retired and living in Vero Beach, Florida, in a home we built in 2017. I spent my career as a software engineer with a passion for home automation, while Phat practiced medicine for 30 years in New Hampshire before we relocated to Florida. We're both car fanatics who have been on quite the EV journey over the past six years.While driving my 2014 BMW 328xd, I casually mentioned that "my next vehicle would be electric." For my 60th birthday, Phat surprised me with an incredible present: a 2019 Tesla Model 3 purchased in late 2018. That hooked us on EVs, and we haven't looked back. Since then, we've owned multiple electric, hybrid and plug-in hybrid vehicles including a Hyundai Ioniq-5, Toyota RAV4 Prime, and multiple Lucid Airs. We're currently a two-Lucid household—I drive a Lucid Air Touring, and we just took delivery of a Lucid Gravity Grand Touring in October 2025.
