Kelcy is a proud Chicago Native! She started training in ballet at a  young age where she quickly discovered her passion for performing. In  middle school she joined the famous Chicago Children Choir, which  allowed her to find her voice. Throughout her years she became an artist  finding passion in all forms, studying acting, singing, and dancing.  This would land her studying acting and musical theatre at the  University of Michigan. After graduation she moved to NYC to hit the  pavement and make her dreams a reality. Since moving to the city she has  performed in numerous national tours, major regional theaters, and  finished a run in her 2nd Broadway show Chicago the Musical where she  played Annie. She is also known for playing Dominique in Starz Hit TV  Show POWER. Kelcy was named NBC’s rising star (‘16) and appeared in the  ABC Diversity showcase. She currently can be seen on FOX in the hit show  GOTHAM where she plays Detective  Vanessa Jamie Harper. In spring of  2018 she appeared as Jacintha in AMC summer hit DIETLAND Most recently  she played the role of Debbie Allen in FX’s hit mini series  Fosse/Verdon! In  2019 her first Netflix feature will premier and her  next major role will be announced. Stay Tuned!
