Kelsey Kenney - Brain and Breath Food [King Hero Interview]

from King Hero's Journey with Beth Martens · host Beth Martens

Kelsey Kenney, a molecular and cell biologist and practitioner in the Love Your Liver program, is joining me for her third King Hero interview to talk about brain and breath food—and some of what she’ll share might surprise you! It’s not surprising that the most abundant neurotransmitter in our bodies has been demonized—in this case by both the mainstream medical system and the natural health system alike. In this interview, Kelsey is going to geek out on her discoveries, the finely detailed science of what actually feeds the brain and the breath, and the changes you may be able to make right away to better nourish both the brain and the lungs.About KelseyFrom the very beginning, I was toxic. I was born jaundiced, likely due to in-utero and inherited toxicity stemming from my mother’s profession as a dentist. My upbringing only compounded these issues. I was raised on microwaved, Saran-wrapped meals and whatever I could scavenge from a kitchen stocked by weight-conscious, working parents—long before organic foods were widely available. When I fell ill, I was treated exclusively with conventional allopathic methods. I developed severe aplastic anemia just before my 16th birthday. The toxic burden I had been accumulating since conception overwhelmed my liver and fat stores, leading to the destruction of most of the blood-forming cells in my bone marrow. The treatment to save my life—more drugs—came at the expense of even deeper toxicity.Three years ago, I experienced a breakthrough when I tried flush niacin, but the real turning point came through the work of Dr. Garrett Smith. His insights gave me clarity and a newfound understanding of the true causes of chronic illness. For the first time, I began to make meaningful progress toward detoxification, wellness, and vitality—for myself and my children. The financial and emotional relief of no longer wasting small fortunes on ineffective treatments has been profound. My life’s work now makes sense: my degree in Cell and Molecular Biology and my experience in biotech—fields I pursued over art school in an effort to understand my rare disease—finally have a proper application. I can now help myself and others heal, which is a source of immense pride.Work with her at: www.nutritiondetective.comAlso watch on Fakebook, X, Rumble and VigilanteTV.Bumper music by Liam Martens, aka ツSaiko, sub to him here on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@SA1KO0O1 MORE FROM BETHSign up to take a 10-minute King Hero’s Journey archetype quizApply to become a member of the House of Free WillRumbleKing Hero Telegram ChannelTwitter (X)InstagramSign up for a Hero's Journey Archetype ReadingOrder a copy of my book, ‘Journey: A Map of Archetypes to Find Lost Purpose in a Sea of Meaninglessness’Donate by PayPal if you’re inspiredFollow the King Hero's Journey Podcast on... Apple Podcasts Spotify ***And if we're just meeting...I’m Beth Martens, a pattern hunter, archetype reader, podcaster, author, coach trainer, and business coach, and my calling is a life or death thing. After a decade as a corporate VP in my family’s firm, eight trips to India, and a three-year battle with cancer nearly 25 years ago, I used archetypes and deprogramming harmful patterns to save my life.I was doing nearly everything wrong, in the physical, but tapped into and let go of the roots of the matter that were embedded and unconscious. And I went from dying to living practically overnight.Today I help people who love the truth more than their beliefs, and who want to serve with their life's work and be on their Hero’s Journey, to de-program the beast system and stop making it easy for those trying to kill us.I host regular King Hero interviews highlighting leaders, entrepreneurs, movement makers, and lovers of freedom.
