Kelsi Mayne

from Finding Your Bliss · host Zoomer Podcast Network

On this episode of Finding Your Bliss, Celebrity Interviewer and Bliss Coach Judy Librach is joined by Kelsi Mayne the powerhouse singer/songwriter and one of the most exciting voices in Canadian country music. Kelsi Mayne is one of Canada’s most acclaimed independent artists, known for her raspy vocals, witty lyrics, genre-bending sound, soulful music, electrifying stage presence, and her explosive live shows. Born in Windsor, Ontario—just across the river from Detroit— Kelsi blends country roots with Motown soul, hip-hop, rock, and modern pop influences. After nearly a decade writing in Nashville, she has developed a signature style that bridges audiences and crosses genres, appealing to mainstream country and contemporary listeners alike. Her recent single, “For The Record,” landed on SiriusXM’s The Highway discovery program “On the Horizon”, Red White and Booze, and Top of the Country. She has also appeared on Apple Music’s massive “Today’s Country” playlist, an Amazon Music billboard in Toronto’s Dundas Square, and the cover of Spotify’s “North Country” playlist. A former nationally ranked sprint-hurdler, and a former Highland Dancer, who fun fact: also has a nursing degree, Kelsi brings that same drive and discipline to her thriving music career. She has earned three CMA Ontario nominations, was a SiriusXM Top of the Country contest finalist, and is the 2024 International Songwriting Competition winner. Her breakout single “Breaking Bad,” produced by Ryan Stewart (Carly Rae Jepsen, Simple Plan, Owl City), reached the Top 50 at Canadian Country Radio in 2025, helping push her catalogue past 3 million streams. On stage, Kelsi has become a festival favourite— playing nearly every major country festival in Canada from Cavendish Beach Music Festival to Big Valley Jamboree, and is the only fully independent artist repeatedly invited back to Boots and Hearts and the Calgary Stampede. A festival favourite, her electrifying stage presence and fearless determination, have made her a standout on the country's biggest festival stages. Championed by industry leaders including producer Chip Matthews (Luke Combs, Kacey Musgraves, Riley Green, Brooks & Dunn), songwriter Brett Sheroky (Blake Shelton, Tucker Wetmore), Nashville’s prestigious Whiskey Jam, Kelsi Mayne is a proven performer ready for takeoff.
