Ken Introspection Photonovelas and creating a better world

Ken writes and produces PhotoNovel stories where he blends the mediums of photos, graphic novels and comic books with socially pertinent stories. Ken has been thinking about is legacy and his deep desire about leaving a message that is meaningful and impactful behind. He is invested in making the world a better place, a more just place, a fairer and safer place. Like all of us, he wants to know that the world that his kids are walking into is safe, fair and understanding. I find it amazing that he is shining his light on the topics that matter most to him in todays society through the lens of PhotoNovels because of the structures that comic books use to teach us about life - the rights and wrongs, the good vs evils. The classic archetypes that have been around for centuries are still the best way for us to learn and aspire to become better people. Ken talks about how important it is for all of us to take the time to reflect and have deep introspection, asking ourselves the questions of “why”… why did i choose to act a certain way, why did i react or say something that I didn’t mean. He challenges all of us to be better and strive, just like the hero’s that we grew up with in our comic books, to always do better.
