Mr. Venturi was well known as broadcasting from the tower on #18 for CBS Sports for over 35 Years, was a renowned golf instructor and incredible player, remembered best as the 1964 U.S. Open Champion. He discusses that final day (36 holes) at Congressional C.C., where he literally defied death and his iconic words when he sank the putt on the final hole to seal the win the U.S. Open. He won 14 events on the PGA Tour, was Sports Illustrated's Sportsman of the Year in 1964 and shortly before his death in 2013, Venturi was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame.
