Send us Fan MailKendra Scurfield grew up at Sunshine Village and her love for the snowboard community runs deep. An accomplished snowboarder herself, Kendra never lost sight of what it means to a snowboarder to have a resort that genuinely cares about their experience. So often the old guard harbours some resentment towards the snowboard community that was founded in the conflict  brought on by a mass of skateboarding oriented youths invading the slopes with attitude and recklessness. But that’s just not how the Scurfield set up Sunshine. Working with Ken Ach, Sunshine hosted the Worlds in 1986 attracting a ton of amazing competitors including Craig. And Kendra grew up in the aftermath of Sunshine accepting Snowboarders early on and she’s built on that strong relationship eventually becoming the director of marketing. And that’s been epic for everyone… there’s a different feeling at sunshine village because Kendra is one of us. So when she decided to start up her own Podcast for Sunshine Village Resort, I jumped at the opportunity to set it up with her.
