Kenya's leading power producer, KenGen, has announced that it is turning to innovation to enhance efficiency and increase productivity, as it seeks to roll out power generation projects worth 1 trillion Kenyan shillings over the next decade, amounting to approximately $1 million.KenGen, which produces more than 70% of the power consumed in the country, says it wants to transform its approach to power generation.At the same time, KenGen says it wants to minimize its carbon footprint.
