Kennedy Center Shutting Down for Major Renovation | St. Louis News

The Kennedy Center is closing for a full year starting September 2024 to undergo a massive $50 million renovation — from stages and seats to backstage systems and air conditioning — plus a fresh rebrand to modernize its look and legacy. Funded by government and private donations, the overhaul aims to restore the arts hub to its best self, ensuring it remains a premier cultural destination for decades to come. No shows during the closure, but expect a revitalized icon when it reopens in August 2025. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
