Kenneth Rooks on becoming an Olympian, Being coached by Ed Eyestone, his hardest workout and more

from Running In Circles · host Zach Hamilton

Today I’m joined by Kenneth Rooks! Kenneth just won the 3k steeplechase at the Olympic trials in dominate fashion so he’s headed to Paris in just a couple weeks to represent the U.S. at the Olympics. He’s now a 2 time U.S. champion in the steeplechase. Last year at the U.S. championships he fell midrace and was able to come back and win. After completing his time at BYU last year he signed a pro contract with Nike and is now a full time professional runner. In this episode he goes over what experience he gained last year that he wants to take into Paris, details some of his steeple training under his coach Ed Eyestone and more.
