Kenny Chesney is taking fans to new dimensions with his recently revealed 12-day residency at Sphere Las Vegas. With it, he looks forward to treating his loyal No Shoes Nation fan base to something new and different. During his appearance on the 'Superstar Power Hour' with Audacy’s Katie Neal, the longtime Country star shared the residency is a refreshing change of events. After being presented the idea of a Sphere residency in April 2024, Chesney said the thing that appealed to him most was the opportunity to flex different creative muscles. “It felt like something I was genuinely, really excited about instead of going out on the road and doing the same cities, same show… it was a new thing,” he shared. “It’s going to be a completely different shared experience… Even if they [fans] have been to 100 shows, this is the first time they’re going to see it like this.” While there’s no doubt next-level technology will play a large part of the high-excitement experience, Chesney also says it will be the song choices. “There’s going to be several songs we haven’t done in years as part of this set.” “It’s been really stressful in a way because I like for it to be great, so we can’t use any of our previous footage we shot from previous years, which is good and bad.” “Once we decided we were going to do it this summer, we went to work… there’s only 8 cameras in the world that shoot with that kind of resolution. We got those cameras and we’ve been working now for a while — on the road and off the road — been traveling all over the world filming stuff.” Only the best for No Shoes Nation!
