from Arroe Collins All Level Sports... · host Arroe Collins

The epic robot-fighting series BattleBots is back for a brand-new season as the world’s biggest, baddest, strongest, and fastest next-generation robots duke it out for robot fighting supremacy. Sixty teams from across the globe including unproven rookies, up-and-coming stars and legends in the game will throw their fearsome fighting machines into the BattleBox for a chance to walk away with the preeminent prize in robotic sport: The Giant Nut. This season’s action-packed tournament includes former champion Tombstone, and formidable foes such as Whiplash, SawBlaze, Captain Shrederator, Lock-Jaw and Bloodsport. Each episode highlights the design and build of the competing robots and profiles the teams behind them. Competitors come from all types of backgrounds – from families to university students and everything in between. Every machine is homemade and constructed from a variety of materials with custom-built weaponry to destroy the competition. The youngest competitor is just 11 years old and this season’s lineup includes the first ever 500lb walking robot.Calling all the action is UFC Legend Kenny Florian and sportscaster Chris Rose. Kenny Florian is the only UFC fighter to compete in four divisions (Featherweight, Lightweight, Welterweight and Middleweight). He fought for three UFC titles in two weight classes and earned Fight of the Night accolades on three different occasions. A third degree blackbelt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Kenny holds the record for the highest submission percentage in the UFC and is tied for the most submission victories in modern UFC history. Kenny was also the host of the weekly Fox Sports series UFC Tonight and provided commentary for several UFC on Fox events.
