Kensington High students start school year at a different building 7 miles away

It is the first day of classes for 113,000 students in the Philadelphia School District, but more than 400 students at Kensington High School will start their year at a different building because of asbestos. Students are being shuttled to the former Austin Meehan Middle School in Mayfair, about 7 miles away from Kensington High. A judge on Friday turned down an attempt to block the move.
