Kensington Skatepark - Grand Opening
from davegtv
The Kensington Skatepark in Vancouver was built in honour of "Mad Carver" Don Hartley, a fixture of the skateboarding community who died while skating in North Vancouver. He fell and hit his head, and was not wearing a helmet --- something friends say he usually wore."[That] run, he decided he wasn't wearing his helmet," Wong said. Amongst the locals, she added, the bowl is referred to as the Carver Bowl.
