Kering Generation Award X Japan: First Ceremony Highlights

Other awarded companies included AMPHIBIO for PFAS-free textiles, Algal Bio for algae-based materials, and Micro Bio Factory for bio-indigo technology. This initiative, part of Kering's broader sustainability strategy, aims to promote environmentally and socially conscious practices within the luxury sector. The award provided winners with training, networking, and an opportunity to showcase their innovations at a global summit. Kering's commitment to sustainability is further evidenced by initiatives from its various houses, such as Gucci's 3D-printed sneakers and Balenciaga's bio-based coat.
