Kevin Bell

Episode 167 is Kevin Bell. As winter is upon us, Medic2Medic takes you to the warm Bahamas to speak with Kevin Bell. Kevin has been involved with EMS full-time for 29 years. Kevin's mission since starting in EMS is on enhancing the pre-hospital care system in the Bahamas through development, quality education, training, and technology. Kevin currently holds a degree in Emergency Medical Services, pursuing a second degree and has a number of instructor certifications. He is currently licensed by the State of Florida as an EMT & Paramedic, the Bahamas Health Professions Council as a Paramedic, and Caribbean Emergency Service Registry as a Paramedic. In February he was credentialed as a Fellow in the American College of Paramedic Executives. Kevin is currently managing a Resort Based EMS system in the Bahamas. Through our discussion, Kevin provides an insight into EMS in the Bahamas, the entities that provide EMS, the role of the Health Council, and his EMS journey.
