Kevin Burt Returns!

This special bonus edition of the We Are Peru podcast features national recording artist and International Blues Challenge winner -- Kevin Burt.  We are also joined by Plattsburgh Blues and Jazz founder Ms. Laura Carbone as well as Peru's own High School Jazz band director Todd Pray.  Kevin discusses a variety of topics including his long history of working with schools and the migration of blues over the years.  He even treated your humble host and other guests in the studio with a truly remarkable performance of his hit song " I Don't Want to See You No More".  Trust me.  You don't want to miss it!   Kevin will be giving his time this week working with schools across the North Country and will be performing a concert in conjunction with the Peru High School Jazz Ensemble Thursday March 28th at 6:30 P.M. in the Peru High School Auditorium.  Tickets to the Peru show are free for students and $10 for adults.  Tickets to the Peru concert can be purchased here:   Kevin Burt Concert featuring the Peru High School Jazz Ensemble Kevin will also be performing at the Strand Theater Saturday April 2nd at 7:30 along with Juno award winner and fellow International Blues Challenge winner Dawn Tyler Watson and her band.  Students, faculty and staff can get tickets for the show at the Strand by buying advance tickets and applying a discount code of BIGLOVESTUDENT and the Strand Tickets will only be 15 dollars.
