This week on #NoSuggestionPod, we are visited at Radio Free Brooklyn studios by a being of pure sweetness and light, actor, clown, film set electrician, spiritual seeker, clown and improv comedian, Kevin Karpinski (@playwelltogether33)! Co-host Jake Joseph (@f00lish_b0y) and I got to have a nice hang with the gentle soul that is Kevin and we got to chat about all kinds of things like what the most formative years of ones life actually are, how Kevin made films as a kid, we get to hear about when Kevin lived in Minneapolis and made forbidden eye contact with Prince, what he did when he realized he wasn't going to become a great film auteur, how he moved to NYC, what it was like to work in television production during the great streaming boom, and the importance of breathing. During this serene hang we do slip into some mischievous and funny little improv scenes, including a scene about a pair of young high school boys who have a meltdown attempting to talk to their crush. Kevin has been through a transformative journey of growth through comedy and we're privileged to get some of his story this week. This episode is sweet, odd, and inspiring.
