With the addition of millions of residents, planning for residential communities is crucial. Kevin Ludlow, the president of Sequoia Development, is chatting with us today about successful development components. The process for Kevin has changed since he first started creating and designing developments in 1988. “I remember I took a sketch into the city, and I had about three pages of hand sketches, and that’s what I used to get the project approved.” Today, there is a more complicated process of committee approvals, permitting, and review boards, which can take up to a year before you get approval for your project.
