Mahler earned a Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Iowa and then a Master’s Degree from Michigan State University. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Nebraska Chapter of the Grant Professionals Association and the Board for The New Territory Magazine. He lives in Nebraska with his wife and children.
