With the increased scrutiny on kickbacks regarding medical device, pharmaceutical, and biotech arrangements, there has been an uptick in enforcement activity specific to the use of physicians, advanced practice providers, and other health care providers who consult, speak, serve as advisory board members, or otherwise lend their expertise.
