The prolific South Memphis rapper returns after with his fourth LP Glockaveli, joining us in the studio for the first time ever. Still only 27, Glock started rapping in high school, before making waves back in 2017 signing to his cousin Young Dolph’s Paper Route Empire. Since then, as well as the four albums, he’s released seven mixtapes including two with Young Dolph, who was tragically gunned down in 2021. Glock opens up about Dolph as an ongoing presence in his life — along with God — not to mention the music with the both of them that sits in the vaults. But primarily we dive into his new record: his songwriting process, signing to a major, and his desire to smash preconceptions.
