Show Notes:  If you don’t know what you’re passionate about or what business to start how can you figure out your passions?  When you start a business find something you enjoy. What do you like to do in your free time?  Your business may not become successful for a long time so never start a business because you need money, start a business because you are passionate about it and the money will come.  Is Mindset Important?  Mindset is critical for success. You can’t control the outcome you can control your behavior What makes some people quit on their business and what helps some people to keep going?  People quit to easily because success isn’t happening fast enough.  Business and success is about mountains and valleys. Business success is up and down, not a straight line.    Work Life Integration Work-life balance is a myth If you are struggling with balancing family, life, your business, and your 9-5 try thinking of life as a pendulum instead of being equally balanced.  Some areas of your life will get more attention than other areas at times. That’s ok and that’s normal. Just be aware enough to recognize if some areas are being extremely neglected and solve that issue.  Find creative ways to spend quality time with your family as you’re pursuing our passions and growing your business.  Quality over quantity is key. Self care is important!  Remember to schedule breaks and time off especially if you have work-a-holic tendencies. Have self awareness and set boundaries if you’re working too much.  Give yourself grace to say “No I can’t do that today.”  What does it take to have a successful business? To have a successful business you have tenacity,  The willingness and passion to learn new skills that go along with having your business.  If you’re scared of sales you must master that craft in order to sell or get new clients.  When determining prices for your business do not set out to be the cheapest, strive to deliver exceptional quality and set your prices accordingly. More Nuggets of Wisdom Words are powerful be careful of what you say about yourself and other people.  Find a role model in your industry and follow them and model them. Join their courses.  If you are struggling you may have defined success as something that’s not realistic right now.  Success is not a sprint it’s a marathon. Give yourself room and time to grow and grace.
