Khalil Mack Returns for 2026 NFL Season

Despite considering a permanent exit from professional football, legendary pass rusher Khalil Mack has decided to return for the 2026 NFL season. The thirty-five-year-old veteran is entering the market as an unrestricted free agent and intends to evaluate all available opportunities across the league. While the Los Angeles Chargers are interested in retaining his services, Mack's primary motivation remains securing his first Super Bowl championship. His previous season was hampered by an elbow injury, yet statistical data confirms he remains a vital force in stopping the run when healthy. As a nine-time Pro Bowler with over one hundred career sacks, he stands as one of the most prominent defensive figures currently available to teams.
