// Kick-off To Season 4! I Swapped Productivity for Presence and Here’s What Happened

Welcome to season 4 of the Flourish Careers Podcast! Picture this: I met up with a friend after a long time, looking forward to an evening of connection and laughter. However, what unfolded was a stark reminder of the distractions that steal away precious moments. Do you have a ritual of selecting a word or theme of the year? In today's episode, I'm sharing how this experience with my friend shaped the selection of "presence" as my theme for 2023 and how I intentionally swapped productivity for presence. We'll explore the concept of time as our most precious and nonrenewable resource—how I used to waste away it while always pursuing productivity, including a 40-day "No Email on Phone" experiment. This episode is an invitation to embrace the potential of selecting a word of the year and venturing on a professional growth expedition. Your route to a more fulfilling career might begin with a single word. ♥ 💛 Free Gift: Heart-Based Career Change Checklist 📚 Tools to help: Slick Inbox |  Little Words Project 💛 Ways to work together: Join Fried to Flourishing, the self-paced career change course or virtual coaching experience.
