A Conversation with Chef Adrian, a Nationally recognized Junior Chef Loco Dos is a Cape Cod based pop up food business supporting community organizations and featuring Chef Adrian, a nationally recognized junior chef. From a young age, Adrian loved to cook. And when he learned about homelessness from an elementary school workshop, he had an idea: what if he could sell his meals and support housing advocacy? Alas, Loco Dos was born. From Adrian: Loco Dos is my family-friendly pop up restaurant where I can share my favorite foods with my community while also supporting non profits like HPC by donating proceeds to their organization. My love of food started in Pre-K when I went to Farm Camp at Newton Community Farm and I became fascinated with all the fresh ingredients grown here in Massachusetts from fennel, basil, mint and more!  When I was five I got my first cookbook and I started making granola and soon that inspired me to want to learn to cook everything from soups, pizzas, meatballs, and more. In 2nd grade, I learned about homelessness at Stony Brook Elementary and I wanted to do something to help. My parents helped me combine my love of cooking and my wish to help my community  –  and I thought this was the best idea. And then Loco Dos was born. The first season of Loco Dos was AMAZING!
