Kids getting into marijuana edibles is a growing problem

from WWJ: On-Demand

In 2024, the Michigan Poison & Drug Information Center says a record 105 children under the age of 6 had to be hospitalized in Michigan after accidentally eating marijuana-infused gummies. It's a growing problem here and across the U.S, according to Dr. Curt Stankovic the Division Chief of Emergency Medicine at Children's Hospital of Michigan. He spoke with WWJ's Tony Ortiz after an incident this week, where 6 kids at a Detroit elementary school went to the hospital after eating pot gummies. (Photo: Getty Images)
