Kids Message: Baptist Catechism 40 & 41--Death and Resurrection

In this week's Kids Message at Harvest Liberty Lake Church, we introduce our children to a foundational truth of the Christian faith: what happens when we die—and the hope we have in the resurrection. Using a simple (and memorable!) Oreo illustration, Pastor Sam explains how God has made us as both body and soul, and what happens at death for those who trust in Christ. When a believer dies, their soul immediately goes to be with Jesus, while their body awaits the day of resurrection. At Christ's return, He will raise us up and reunite body and soul in a glorified, eternal state. This short message is part of our commitment to family worship and catechism-based discipleship, helping even our youngest members understand the gospel and the hope of eternal life.
