Kienholz & the New-look Cardinals | Louisville Football News

Louisville’s football season ignites September 6th in Nashville against Ole Miss, as the Cardinals aim to build on last year’s momentum with transfer QB Lincoln Kienholz at the helm. Coach Jeff Brohm’s knack for unlocking transfer QBs gives hope Kienholz can thrive—especially with a potent running game led by Isaac and Keyjuan Brown, poised to shoulder heavy loads and ease pressure on the rookie signal-caller. But the wideouts are untested, leaving the spotlight on key transfers Lawayne McCoy (FSU speed) and Tre Richardson (Vanderbilt SEC savvy) to fill the void. With a strong ground game and new weapons, Kienholz has everything needed to propel Louisville back into ACC title contention.
