Kienholz Shines as Cardinals Dominate | Louisville Football News

Lincoln Kienholz just earned major national acclaim, named one of eight Stars of the Week by The Manning Award for his explosive performance in Louisville’s 59-13 demolition of Villanova. He racked up 374 total yards and four touchdowns — throwing for over 330 yards and two scores while adding two rushing TDs, accounting for every first-half touchdown. This marks his second straight stellar outing, making him one of just six FBS QBs to surpass 300 yards in both opening games — and the first in Louisville history to do so in his first two starts. Nationally, he’s ranked second in total offense, third in yards per attempt, fourth in QBR, and tied for 11th in rushing TDs with three. Now, he and the Cardinals face No. 16 SMU this Saturday at 3:30 PM ET on ESPN2 — another big test for the rising star.
