Kienholz’s Rise Could Spark Louisville Upset | Louisville Football News

Louisville football is heating up for their season opener against Ole Miss — the only ranked-vs-ranked game Week 1 — as a six-and-a-half-point underdog. The buzz? New QB Lincoln Kienholz, an Ohio State transfer and four-star recruit, is stepping into the starting role with flashes of promise. Head coach Jeff Brohm praised Kienholz’s growing command of the offense, his decision-making, and his ability to extend plays with his legs. A dual-threat dynamo who threw for 3K+ yards and rushed for 1K+ in high school, Kienholz could be the spark this Cardinals team needs to pull off an upset and ignite a thrilling new season.
